Well having read the thread further down now, I hope someone like sky does take it over, summers just won't be the same with out BB
Tbh, I think it is long overdue. This year's BB was the final straw and the nail in the coffin. You could tell that the producers were not bothered with it and really didn't give a toss about it or the fans.
you can also tell by the quality of advertising - those Lucozade ads looked like a 3year old knocked them up...
see, i think the hm's this year have been a good bunch,even though the better ones were kicked out too soon, it's ch4 who given up on the show, very little hype,no decent spin off shows like big brain and diary room uncut, no live feed, no forum,crappy tasks, cheap twists and then throwing in the towel and allowing noms discussions.just no enthusiasm from ch4 and it showed.

The premise of the show was a brilliant idea. However, the caliber of people that go into the show (and the tasks, and the horrible HL footage Endemol chooses to put on air) is a disgrace.
it's about time the show was shot and buried. I used to enjoy watching unscripted roles and people developing realationships, trust, etc, only to watch them react to trival things: alcohol, food, sleep deprivation. And then watching the pathetic rouse and stabbings in the backs, etc. The nicest people win in the end.
But THIS year's show is a laugh. What a bunch of losers. I'm sick of watching idiots and dole-chasers each summer. I've been on relocation for the last two years and out of the country so I haven't seen many of the series. But THIS year... the tasks, the producers behind the scenes... wtf???
they announced LAST YEAR that this BB10 would be the last.

The premise of the show was a brilliant idea. However, the caliber of people that go into the show (and the tasks, and the horrible HL footage Endemol chooses to put on air) is a disgrace.

I thought they scrapped the show years ago. Now they just shove a bunch of prima donna's in a studio for 12 weeks. Get them to dress up in silly costumes once in a while just to see how low they will stoop for their 1 minute of fame.

If you followed the news/data over the racism complaints, the bullying complaints, you'd understand whay all the shows (and forum) are being cut one by one.
Who wants to watch Marcus sleeping to the final and Lisa/David smoking? The housemates worth watching are always kicked out first

C4 clearly couldn't be arsed to produce a decent show this year - and then act surprised when viewers show a similar lack of enthusiasm?
It was obvious because it has been a disaster this year with all the rule breaking over not nominating and getting away with it would not have happened in other years they would have been shown the door .

None of my friends watch it anymore - probably why I spend time on here.
I liked it far better when it was a study on group behaviours - and when they had BB big brain - its turned into a circus now.

The whole concept of CBB is a disgrace. It was introduced for charity- they realised they could make loads of money and then kept it for themselves, with a fraction going to charity.
