we dont know the circumstances and i am sure he discussed it with his family, i do not like Charlie but i wouldnt suggest that he chose BB over his mum. I am sure he has frequent updates from BB and will leave if anything has changed. Never suggested he should sit by her bed daily, but he choose what was more important to him a tv show or being able know how his Mother was, says it all for me.
If he did not get on with her, that would be fine
