Big Brother is concerned about the planet – not about the impact that man's actions are having. No, Big Brother is more concerned about the impact Sophie's sense of direction could have on global stability…
"I haven't got a clue where Japan is, or Sweden, or Iceland, or Iran, or Germany," announced Sophie as she read down the list of countries for her Geography Task.
"If any housemates assist Sophie, she will fail the Task and housemates will receive no music later," Big Brother warned.
"Just remember what we said," Rodrigo said kindly.
Big Brother asked Sophie to show on the map where she thought Sweden was. "What on earth is this big thing?" said Sophie as she stared in front of her. Big Brother couldn't tell if she was looking at the map, or a country on it…
Big Brother asked Sophie to indicate where she thought Japan was. "I haven't got a clue where Japan is – is it near America?" she asked innocently.
What followed sounded like a re-enactment of the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire incident, as Marcus hacked and harrumphed away in an attempt to influence Sophie's decision. But he might as well have poked himself in the eye for all the good it did him, as Sophie chose somewhere in Africa for Japan's location.
"It's okay Sophie," said Rodrigo.
There was doubt expressed about the location of Iceland too. "Fat chance in this," sniped David as Sophie searched around.
As for Germany…
"Is Germany in France?" asked Sophie.
Big Brother makes mental note: must never ask Sophie for directions…
