I would call them animals but that would be an insult to animals.

Also news and star Workington cumbria. A five year old girl shot in the face near her ear, with an air rifle. Lucky she's ok. These air rifles should be kept in shooting clubs, not on the streets, it's about time they were banned from being allowed in the public environs.

If anyone so much a touches my little girl - God help them. I'd have them locked up for life!

It's awful and as they are only 7 and 10 I doubt they'll be held responsible as they will be considered under the age of criminal responsibility (though the 10 year old might). Even if they are, the punishment will be nowt more than a slap on the wrist

Thats the awful thing isn't it they will never be culpable for their actions, they'll get away with it and will probably go on to do more dreadful things.

It's hard to believe that children can have such vicious instincts .... They don't just lick it off a stamp though .... I shudder to think what sort of example they are being set at home .... or perhaps more to the point, what sort of example they are NOT being shown at home ....

The problem, IMO, is that these parents do not take responsibility for their children. They expect the nanny state (who probably provides their shelter, food and clothing) to do it. They indulge their children, never teach them right from wrong, never teach them empathy, and never give them any guidance.
