Or did they? Glance

The fact that she couldnt understand what she'd done to upset people makes me concerned. I didnt think the interview was poor at all, they gave her quite a hard time and she really didnt get it.

Throughout her time in the house she exhibited classic dysfunctional behaviours ,projection being one of the main ones.Shes a case of learning something but not applying it.She doent walk her talk.

I sorry but all those like you who really believe this are being fooled. Of course she knows what shes doing. Shes used to it, having been thrown out of College, Jobs, even a Town. Her smiling through her teeth is her way of dealing with it.
My conclusion is she just doesnt care. All that mock "I didnt realise" rubbish was oh so fake, I felt quite ill watching her. Shes a pro at it and quite clearly is one horrible person.

Can you back up all this with some facts please. I'm sure as a Psychology student you are not allowed to make wild assertions without proof.

What's all of this talk about her being thrown out of a town Confused

I saw it this week. I think it was on DS. Didnt say which one but she had created a rumpus and had been banned.

Apparently she told Charlie that she had to move at one point because she'd become so unpopular.

I didn't hear this myself and have only picked it up from the forums, so treat with caution.
(And that's before we even consider whether or not Bea was telling Charlie the truth! Wink)

I've seen a few references to it, but no detail...I can't imagine that she has ever been banned from a town Confused

With her level of self awareness being zero and her personality being so unpleasant she could be dangerous. If you think that she could be influencing vulnerable people with mental disorders or trauma.

It makes me wonder at the quality of such education.Surely any psychology student should undergo counselling or therapy in order to understand themselves and the process involved.

It was clear that in her interview she didnt understand what shes done wrong.Showing such a huge lack of empathy makes me wonder if she has sociopathic tendencies.

Definitely. She has no empathy whatsoever. Can you imagine how she would be about her clients when they had gone? Totally wrong career choice. She took the degree I expect to fall in love with herself.

Poeple don't generally do a psychology degree to become a counsellor. To do psychoanalysis/psychiatry, I think you'd have to get a medical degree first, and then do a specialisation in psychiatry.

What is frightening is that people can and do set themselves up as counsellors or therapists without any formal qualifications. You only have to look at the ads in the local paper to see this.

You need to be a medical doctor to be a psychiatrist. Psychoanalysis is a branch of psychology, and not that popular a one these days, that doesn't require a background in medicine.

And actually a lot of people, especially mature students, do a psychology degree precisely with the intention of becoming counsellors...but they often change their minds once they realise that that is a tiny part of the options open to them.

The qualifications you need vary according to the career you wish to undertake.
