15 years ago one of my best friends died from cervical cancer aged 42...she left behind 2 daughters aged 18 and 14

i stayed in touch with her hubby and daughters and then we all somehow just lost touch

pratting around whilst i was locked out of here i went on friends reunited..which i haven't been on for yonks....and her eldest daughter had left me a message in july..

it was so sweet and i completely lost it that she remembered me all these years later and i've been blubbing ever since

i don't know why i'm posting this cos it means nothing to anyone but me.

dunno..maybe just brought home how important my friends are to me..how much i value them and love them

and oh i dunno....
Awwwww Spongy I can totally understand how you felt.

My hubby belongs to friends reunited as do I and he obviously NEVER goes on it as I had a look on his page about 6 months ago and his profile said 'My wife and I are expecting twins in early 2006, so excited'...

Sadly I lost our twins in Sept and Oct 2005 at 20 & 22 weeks.

I had no idea he'd put anything on his profile as he only joined to find his brother and once he had he never went on it or so I thought.

I cried so much when I read it as he'd never said anything about the twins. I was so shocked.

In fact it's probably still on there like that Frowner I didn't tell him I'd seen it.

Hug For you and your friends kids.

Absolutely nothing wrong with that spongey! Probably brought up the feelings you had when you lost your friend! Perfectly understandable! Hug
