They both go out of their way to be seen as nice and caring. They both want people to think they are incredibly thick - it worked for Brian Belo. But what got me most was seeing the messages from home.

I know it's normal for people to get a bit emotional when they see relatives they haven't seen in a while but ffs these two were unbelievable.

David. Was he told he had a message from home and shown a video of relatives or, was he told told that due to being boring and dull BB sadly had to have five of his relatives shot? From his reaction I suspect the latter. R.I.P folks.

Charlie. Was he told he had a message from home and shown a video of relatives or, was he told that a plane had just crashed into his house sadly killing all his known relatives who were gathered there having a party at the time? Yep it's definitely the latter on this one I thought they'd have to give him a bloody sedative to make him stop. R.I.P. folks.

Nobody in the world can tell me they weren't acting to save their lives which I find absolutely pathetic. Oh and of course there's the bawling over the slightest thing 'she called me a bully' or 'they won't be my friends anymore' they really are a complete waste of space and spookily similar in my opinion.

Is it the fact they're gay? Or that they're acting? Or that they're just complete and utter twats?

hi nem wavey

David and Charlie are alike in many ways, and not just in their gay personas. David is more camp than Charlie imo. But their reactions to their videos was similar, the over-acting was similar, the tears and heartfelt over-the-top emotions the same. Pity it was all false and put on for the cameras. I don't think it was a gay thing, I think it was a greed thing, a wanting to win so badly that they will put on any show for the cameras that may pull at the heartstrings of the public watching kinda thing. It's an old tried and true tactic, but both of them overplayed it and it has been used too many times before. We spotted it a mile away.

Hi Twee, wavey

Are you in my brain?

Last night I put up a post about David, and basically said he is desperate and a huge game player, I also said that this week I'd sooner he went over Bea. I'm by no means a Bea fan, but ever since "No nom rebels" Sophie and Siavash refused to vote, David's greed beame very evident to me. His outburst was ridiculously over the top, and I got the impression he thinks he's above being nominated, and he thought he was safe under Lisa's block vote tactic. I find David extremely false, he's not as nice as he makes out and along with Charlie he wants to win the most.

cup, it wasn't the tears it was the hysterical overreaction from both of them that I thought was forced to max.

Sky I can't see much difference between them. David's tantrum over the noms was actually quite a Charlie thing to do I thought.

Fair enough,i thought dave was genuine i can just imagine being like that, not just in house.

Hello there Twee, great handle by the way. Yes I think they both went too far and it will backfire on them bigtime. Probably not enough for David to get evicted this week which is a shame.

Hi Twee, wavey

Last night I put up a post about David, and basically said he is desperate and a huge game player, I also said that this week I'd sooner he went over Bea. I'm by no means a Bea fan, but ever since "No nom rebels" Sophie and Siavash refused to vote, David's greed beame very evident to me. His outburst was ridiculously over the top, and I got the impression he thinks he's above being nominated, and he thought he was safe under Lisa's block vote tactic. hiya SR xx I quite like David tbh, even though I realise he is putting on an enormous show for the cameras. Charlie .. well, I dare not say what I think of him on an open forum but, suffice to say, that he is the more false of the two and the least funny. David's campness does make me laugh. Charlie has failed to make me laugh in ten weeks. I can't see it happening now Shake Head

Like you, I feel that David thought he was going to have a free ride on Lisa's back to the final, and Siavash's non-nomination tactic has thrown David off-course and he has had to re-think his whole strategy. It has unsettled him greatly and his inability to think on his feet is showing. The Yorkshire Pudding persona isn't enough I'm afraid, we require more than that in our winner. The scuppering of the block nominations has thrown a few of them off-course, and their inner greed is starting to show on their faces and in their tactics for more camera time, crying at letters from home included. Confused Confused Surely if David was the gameplayer that many believe he is, he wouldn't have gone near Lisa with a bargepole after reading about her unpopularity before going in.

Instead he would have done a Bea and targetted the (then) favourite, Freddy.

Like him or loathe him, I think he's just being himself in there. I'm sure that like all of them, he would like to win, but making a friend of Lisa would be the wrong way to go about making it happen Roll Eyes

I stole my forum name from Liam's job description and tweaked it a bit to suit myself lol. David is safe enough this week I think but next week he will be in the firing line and likely to leave. It's so near the end now though that anything can happen. I just hope he is not there on the final night because I don't think he has earned the right.

When David went in he already knew that Lisa still had some of her power base around her (Sophie and Charlie) but it was lying dormant for want of a few numbers to make it effective again in the nominations. Apparently he had already met Lisa during the audition process and he immediately honed in on her because he already knew her and felt comfortable around her. He also must have known the sway Lisa can hold in a group of young impressionable youngsters. I am not sure David is as naive as he appears. He is quite astute and his confidence grew as Lisa's power base reassembled. He felt safe in the knowledge that the numbers were favourable and he also felt safe that his passage to the final was secured by this. But there's many a slip twixt cup and lip, and David had not factored in the Siavash development. He is now floundering, worried that Plan A did not work. But it is highly unlikely he will leave tomorrow anyway as Bea has proved her unpopularity by her treacherous side-changing behaviour with regard to Freddie.
