Think it's because he had the props but it fell flat

Came across as moaning (assuming you're talking about him slagging off his costume). I found nothing funny about it.

I do think he is 'trying harder' since the message from home thing....over egging the pudding or whatever you call it - but I'm ok with that!

Marcus needs somebody to have a laugh with. It really is noticeable that Freddie has gone. I found him funny but then I always do..... would have liked to have seen him tearing around the place in a werewolf costume though

true, should have called him a dickhead

His face was hidden away under that thing he had to wear so that didn't exactly help in communicating to the audience. He was still funnier than Sophie and Rodrigo in the DR, all they did was laugh (about nothing).

So while this wasn't his one of his greatest moments I really think people are starting to get desperate to criticise him now. At least he is trying, and he has offered far more in this series than all those left put together. What is Siavash doing? Nothing. Charlie had the best task where he could play around with the shock equipment, so that was an advantage for him in that program.
