That happened to me too...i assumed it was because i had been there checking her online staus before I signed out.

The black bar at the top was doubled up but when I clicked on ME it took me to my REAL own profile summary page.

Cagney, if you try the link to the support forum again you should be in and posting as you appear to be 'logged-in' now.

Edit: Thanks FGG now I look a real twat! Serves me right, I suppose, for going along with what someone else says and not checking it myself.

You have to click on thier name and on the right it says "add as buddy" or something.

And then you categorise them as friend. family etc....just click friend on all of them

Marguerita, I've added you to my list, hope you don't mind, to find it, click the little orange tirangle next to your name on your home screen and it will tell you you have a buddy alert, open it and say yes or no to the person.

That not quite as much fun to imagine... no laughing matter that!

(I need to get a life, as I type this I keep pausing trying to imagine how one would get ones knickers out of their bum... without arms! )

If someone asks you to be their buddy and you accept then they automatically become your buddy, likewise if you ask someone to be your buddy and they accept you automatically become their buddy.
To ask someone to be your buddy you have to click on their name or avatar and you will go to their public profile page. Near the top right shoul be a small clickable phrase 'add as buddy' click this and an invitation will be sent to them,
Alternatively on your own profile page in the same place it should say 'invite buddy'. Click on that and you'll be asked to choose to whom you want a buddy request sent. Once you've chosen the invitation will be sent.
Don't know whether you can send several requests at a time or whether you have to do each one seperately though.

Edit: Either I'm going mad or they've changed it To add a buddy from your own profile you have to open your buddies sub-page and the clickable link ic below all your buddies thumbnails on the right.
