I had wondered if both the nomination results and David catching her out over her nomination lies might have forced her over the edge, but she's still there...

I wondered why as soon as he David knew he was up he asked Bea if she'd nominated him, why ask her instead of Marcus or Siavash who aren't part of his team

Siavash told everyone who BB had chosen as his nominations. My memory's a little shakey, but I think Sophie did as well.
Marcus told Bea he'd nominated her. Again, I can't remember if he discussed nominating David, but I'd be surprised if he didn't. Besides, David would expect a nomination from Marcus anyway.

In short, Bea has fallen foul of the "legal nomination talk" curse. It's taken a while, but this is exactly what BB would have been hoping would happen when they changed the rules (in general - not specifically to Bea).
David isn't as dumb as a lot of people assume, and he's perfectly capable of doing the maths. He knows Sophie and Siavash didn't nominate him, and Lisa and Charlie wouldn't, So without Bea he'd only have 2 nominations. It's highly unlikely he'd be up with only 2 - for a start, it would mean either Marcus or Bea only got 2 as well, which is highly unlikely.

As Bea pointed out, this logic isn't totally foolproof, but her inability to robustly deny David's suspicions merely confirmed he was right.

Thanks Eugene Thumbs Up so he was using Maths to work out Bea must have nominated him, he's a quick thinker lol

Well, he may not have worked it out for himself, but I think he deserves to be given the credit! Wink

Without LF we'll never know for sure, but from what we have seen, they all seem to be discussing nominations pretty freely (apart from Rodrigo). I imagine they all had a pretty good idea how many nominations each HM was expected to get prior to the announcement. When David was surprised to find himself up, it was therefore just a matter of working out who had been lying to him.
