When Roddy was apologising to Bea and they hugged and made up and he said "Promise .. promise we be happy tomorrow .. we have nice day tomorrow .. serious". Bea nodded, walked away, Roddy sat down and said to the others very hopefully "Is she going tonight??????"

Yes, I did hear him ask, but can't really remember the tone or inflection. So he might have been hopeful, then again he might just have been enquiring as to what Bea might have said to others.quote:Originally posted by Lord Lucan:

I heard Rod say that and it made me laugh.
FANTASTICO RODRIGO.
Its probably cos he realised that she was on about leaving the house.
Rodders cracked me up last night.
When he turned to Marcus in the pool and Said "But it is funny" with such a serious face.

I don't think he said it hopefully. It was more in a worried way as he thought he would look bad if she left. Rodrigo is so concerned with his image, but he keeps letting that mask slip. Even at the table in between his laughing he suddenly changed expression and went into his priggish mode.

Didn't see it like that but nevermind. Rodrigo could very well win BB and I don't mind that either .

Agree with your post. He's not been afraid to challenge Bea nor fawned over her like Charlie.
Good for him.

He never challenged Lisa, he should sat there at the bench smiling while she bitched about Freddie. He keeps going back to Charlie as well for his showmance. Has he ever challenged Sophie about her bitching and stirring? It's easy to attack those in a weak position in the house.

Are you saying Bea and Charlie are in weak positions? That's what my post was about.

Bea is in a weak position, as was Noirin somewhat what he challenged her. Charlie he argues with but keeps going back to and making up with for his showmance.

If Bea's in a weak position (and I don't believe that she is), it would be her own making. I actually see her as highly manipulative, devious and attention seeking, even at the expense of her mum. Sad really.
As regards Charlie, I don't see him as being in a weak position either, and don't think he views himself as such. Practical jokers sometimes act out of perceived superiority. I agree with you about the showmance and think Rodrigo should steer clear.

Of course alot of it is of Bea's own making, although new HMs tend to find it hard to integrate fully anyway.
With Charlie I was saying that he may have standed up to Charlie recently but he'll go back cosying up to him as usual, so that hardly counts.
