If I was her mother I wouldn't want to show my face on tv either, I would want to hide away. Bea's constant insubordinate behaviour has got her into trouble in the past - at school, at work - and her mother is probably pig sick of it. I would say that most of Bea's personality defects emanates from a bad relationship with her mother. I would be ashamed if Bea was my daughter tbh.
I know you are just speculating Twee, but I think you may be near the knuckle there Ninja Bea smacks of a spoilt brat who has been given everything all the material things she wants and gets everything she asks for, but she possibly does not have a strong emotional connection with her mother. The way she acts suggests this is a possibility.

In addition., she is probably boarding school fodder too. Strikes me that she is anyway, or educated in a private school maybe.

Just my opinions and views based on what I have seen of her.

hi CP. The HMs all tend to talk about their lives quite openly on BB and we are allowed to listen in to said conversations. It is not unusual therefore that, when information is in the public domain, we may discuss it. That is all we are doing when we make comments. I have listened to Bea and watched her behaviour and it was then that I was able to form an opinion of her.

I agree with you that she is spoilt and has probably been given everything she wants just to shut her up: a bit like the HMs are doing with her now. Anything to shut her up. She has openly discussed the fact that she was expelled from Cheltenham Ladies College for disruptive/rebellious behaviour, with a failure by her parents to get her reinstated. She has openly discussed the fact that she has been sacked from every job she has had. These things she has told us. Bearing all of that in mind, it is not a hard step to take to understand why some of her behaviour in the house reflects her past admitted behaviour. The absence of a letter from her mother highlighted some more behaviour which is in keeping with what we already know. Perhaps they can be connected.

And I think, that must be the very reason I like him Smiler .... Can't say he's ever been a dead favourite of mine, but I love the way he never gets worked up into a lather ... I admire that in people Nod

Well done that man Thumbs Up

The only time he got ruffled was when Noirin made a fool of him. Then he realised how Marcus felt.

Well said and it begs the question "when is she going to realise that her behaviour is unacceptable and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT."
