Sos it's not 'citing!

I had it as a side effect of pregnancy. I got little wrist supports and shook my hands a lot and left them hanging out of the bed to get some relief at night. It is a real pesky condition figtree!

Ta For replying Trig's I may have it yet to see the quack! Have had pins and needles in left arm and hand for months...was told that it might be a trapped nerve... however I cannot straighten or close my fingers now so even using a fork is difficult

I am not preggers though!

Its a very common condition - Calcium growth narrows the 'tunnel' in the wrist causing pressure on the nerve.

A minor op (if such a thing exists) will open the tunnel and relieve the pressure. Simples.

I don't have it now, thank God, it subsided after I gave birth. I hope you get this treated quickly and easily figtree.

My mum's got it. She was prescribed some tablets, but she stopped taking them because of side effects.
