Brisket, do you not think he did that when he poked him in the face last night?

I regarded that as a reaction to Charlie.
What I mean is for Rodrigo to test Charlie`s tolerance level by words alone (with perhaps even a "I was only joking" thrown in for good measure.)
Perhaps I`m not expressing it clearly.
*smile*

That's kinda my point Brisket, Rodrigo flies off the handle and becomes v threatening and aggressive

2 wrongs don't make a right

Meaning?

Charlie shouldn't have spat the water, (provoked or otherwise,) Rodrigo shouldn't have poked Charlie in the face, (provoked or otherwise)

My point is, Charlie was not provoked when he spat in Bea's face. That is the fundamental difference.

No, he thought it was a 'laugh' like the kind of thing people do in a swimming pool....ok , not funny, but not malicious either, just Charlie's 'pranks' being OTT....and Bea didn't have a hissy fit

oh ok so poking someone in the face is ok Confused

What are you talking about? Bea didn't poke Charlie in his face, and even if she did, that warrants him spitting in her face? :-/

I was talking about rodprigo poking charlie in the face Smiler

It is strange that Rodrigo does not react like this when he has an ordinary argument with one of the others. That is what I base my feelings on with regard to Rodrigo. Yes, he does have a quick temper and that is a given. When discussing Rodrigo's over-reaction to his Charlie rows you have to base them on what you know already about Rodrigo, and see his DR anger in the right context. I blame Charlie unreservedly for pushing Rodrigo to the limits of endurance.

Is it just me or does anyone else feel we're only inches away from Roddy physically attacking Charlie? Not some silly shoving and/or pushing kind of way, but a more aggravated, lost-the-plot full on smack?

He (Rod) seems to be beyond containing himself when Charlie starts....He takes the bait more quickly than ever nowadays (which suits Charlie fine).

I'm neither condoning or wanting such a thing to happen, but I really feel that Rod's reached a point and that Charlie has no perception of just how far this could go.

Or am I totally way off beam here? Crazy

ok when Charlie does ANYTHING the forum is up in arms, i.e he should be warned etc, etc,

when Rodprigo does anything, oh well he has been provoked, so does provocation make it ok to throw water or cooking oil at someone, poke someone in the face, kick feck out of the diary room Confused I am just finding it a bit odd that fms can justify his actions because he was being wound up, IMO he has some serious anger issues, and what he said in the DR a few weeks back seemed to confirm this, that he didnt want the public to see this side of him.

Tbh we never saw Rodprigo on the hls show for the first few weeks and the question is if Charlie wasnt the house would we see anything of him at all,

Disclaimer I am NOT a charlie fan

It's the camp element as well which people laugh at, like they did with Nadia.

I haven't been a fan of Rodrigo and Charlie, I think Endemol have been protecting both of them. I can't believe neither have received at least a warning. The only reason can be that they are favourites of the producers.

You are not alone, I have said this myself here over the last few days. Rodrigo can get very unstable and just lose it. Charlie is an idiot as well and is more calculating probably, but that in itself means he will probably only go so far. Rodrigo is like a ticking time bomb.

I think that is exactly what Charlie is wanting.
Charlie feels, I think, that he has enough evidence to push Rodrigo into physical aggression. But I also feel Charlie has aggression lurking just under the surface.
I believe Charlie is goading and taunting and provoking precisely to get an aggressive response.
Unlike you ~Cosmo I think Charlie does percieve what could happen, and I genuinely think that is what he wants.
It may sound odd, but Charlie is such a drama queen that I believe he is prepared to go that far.
I think Charlie is actively seeking an aggressive response. And I don`t like him for it. Nasty tactics in my opinion. Desperate measures from an immature and duplicitous person.

I agree,....I think this is what Charlie wants or he would just stop when Rodrigo asks him to.

Thanks to all for the replies. I'm not on here enough to know if this had been spoken of before.

I agree with you Brisket; Charlie does fancy something kicking off. I'm just not wholly sure that he realises just how MUCH it will kick off. Yes, he knows how to push the buttons, and yes, he's seen Rod in rant mode - but I'm talking something beyond that; something that will make all that's gone before look like a tea party for gentle folk...!

Whatever happens, something is definitely brewing and I'm not sure BB will be quick enough to step in before someone ends up hurt.
