It has taken me this long to write anything about Freddie since his eviction. Not because I didn’t know what to say, but because I just wanted to chill and absorb what happened.

Freddie leaving last night was bittersweet. More bitter than sweet, but sweet enough to make me smile. I’m happy for him. He was evicted to nothing but cheers, he had an amazing interview, and he really enjoyed himself on BBBM. There was not an ounce of negativity in him, nor regret. He even had something nice to say about Lisa, bless him.

When his name was called I had already been told by a source that Marcus had been evicted. I was still watching through fingers though, which was probably a good thing. I was shocked, but not to the extent of utter bemusement. I knew that it would be a close vote. By my estimation, there were probably only a few thousand votes between them.

In the end, Freddie didn’t need the money, so that doesn’t even factor in. What he does take from this is the experience. He is all about living, and he certainly did that in the house. Good for him, and good on him for lapping up the eviction atmosphere and enjoying every bit of it.

The one reason I regret Freddie going is to do with Bea specifically. I didn’t want her to have the satisfaction of believing herself to be something special. She is nothing special. The vast majority of the public despise her, and the sooner she finds that out the better. Her barefaced smirk last night said it all. “I’ve won”. You’ve won nothing, Bea. People will forever remember you as the deluded self obsessed headcase.

In years to come, when people ask ‘Remember Big Brother 10?’, people will reply ‘Yeah, the one with Freddie, Marcus and Siavash’. It will be Freddie’s name that is remembered, not Lisa’s, or Bea’s, or Charlie’s. So in that sense, Freddie is a winner by default, in being remembered, and for all the right reasons.

Thank you for the good times, Freddie. Rock on.

Very good post!

Not sure that i agree with this though:

Oddly, it sounded to me like louder boo's than both Kris and Karly got - but not as bad a reception as Noirin.

Great post Maths Clapping I was shocked, upset and annoyed he left last night as he was a very good and interesting HM. Was furious Bea thought she was right about him via the public Mad But, yes, he got a great reception, gave a great interview and seemed very happy. Good Luck to him and hope he's having fun away from that miserable lot.

Mathematics what can I say? I think with that post you have expressed what most of Freddie's fans feel and have difficulty in expressing. Thank you for putting that so eloquently and I merely wish to add that I wish everybody on this forum could have seen Freddie the way we, his fans, saw him.

Good one Maths' I admit to being gutted too ,pretty down yesterday! FrownerHowever in all truth he is actually better off out there . It truely is a den of vipers!I was very happy with the quality of the interviews.
I am not generally a revengeful person but I hope the pit that Bea is digging for self eventually swallows her up.... She could have been a brilliant HM but she blew it big time!So in the end she is the biggest loser of them all!

great post Maths.
freddie was totally harmless.
he should have been there longer, other people should have gone long before him.
But to see him happy friday night and to see the Freddie that Bea had destroyed emerge again made it all bitter sweet.

I am lost for words for once. You have put into words exactly how I felt and feel.

Thank you Hug

Freddie is a loser.

He let a woman get under his skin, a woman who in the end did win thier little war of attrition.

Freddie, you were a great housemate, but in the end you started to come across as the snobby upperclasss fool that you will inevitably be remembered as.

Yes it is a nice post about freddie, but he was boooed, and he was evicted, he had it all to win but threw it all away because of his vile big headed and cock surdedness, which imo makes him a sad loser, just like most of them.
