As I and others have said elsewhere though, it wasn't just the betting odds.
All the main online polls had Marcus to go too. Essentially, the odds were simply reflecting this.

BB Online seems to have been particularly shocked by the result: their poll is highly regarded, and had Marcus to go with 58%. Although they do admit there was a lot of anti-Freddie voting in the last 24 hours, that's still one heck of a turnaround...

Betting odds can be an indication of an outcome , but are never a perfect one! One thing that troubles me is that I believe voting figures are now low enough for betting syndicates to be able to swing a close result by spending thousands on voting, but hopefully that would be offset by other big betters backing different hms!
