I don't see any point in pointing out an obvious point as it seems pointless so in that case pointing it out might point to another point which may not be so obvious.
I just think that it's best pointed out, as not to get others that pointed out the obvious to feel that pointing this obvious point out would be pointless.
I'm sure this will point to another point not so obvious but worth pointing out.

Just checking with some of my Pointless friends, some of which are ancient, but not Greek and it seems that the having a fear for the pointless seems pointless as most of the threads have a point and so are harmless to the ancient Greeks.
But to all the young non-Greek FM's this may all seem pointless but if you look deep enough you will find a good point.

It might sound pointless to point that out but you do make a point, think Pontificate is primarily related to religion but we try to keep away from that in this thread as it's pointless to point it out when we are trying to press home the importance of coming to the point, even if the point of it is pointless.

It depends on which of the points you are pointing to.
A lot of the points we have visited but it was pointed out that it was pointless, so on that point it would be advisable to point out exactly which point you were pointing to.

If you point out that point and the point is marked, then that point can be followed and pointed to by all those that follow and need a pointer.

The first point that we reached is a valid point in relation to the 5th point that was brought to the point by somebody second the first point which if you look closely is a momumental explosion of the factual meaning of the scientific isolation of the ambigious meddling of the intusive allegience to a very potty point of leaving the points in place and not defusing the point where it is worthless and the whole shebang is up in flames.
