A few things imo KG....Most folks reasons for wanting to be in there have changed...For some it's simply a short cut to zelbritydom....Some have agents before the show begins....It's no longer a social experiment those were the good old days of BB....Back to basics is what they need to do .

I think it's just become too much of a hassle for them doing the show....they only seem to want shows that require far less effort.

So what do they do?
Run it into the ground so that they don't get a fraction of the revenue they used to, take away the forum that they made money from in ad revenue and then whine that they are broke and go cap in hand to the government to beg for some of the licence fee

You have it there, Veggie. Channel 4 has squandered the revenue they have received in previous years and are begging for a portion of the license fee. Even though they are still getting revenue from advertising.

Big Brother has been their flagship programme for 10 years now. They have earned millions, if not billions over the years from advertisers and voting. They have paid "celebrities" vast amounts to appear on CBB, not to mention the over rated salaries that Davina and George are getting.

The only way they are going to get anything from the government is to show how much their revenue has fallen from BB - without mentioning their cutting of live feed and blatant manipulation of housemates.
