It happens Jackson and it's a double sided coin how the person and other folk deal with it.

now i am thinking about her, men used to start out, when they met her, pretty dimissive, as i said she wasn't young and pretty , but give it an hour and they would fall over themselves to to hear her say some thing nice to them or about them and go all stupid if that happened.

TBH I think given the circumstances in there male ego plays a huge role.

and when we were at regional meetings, being all corporate and serious, which would last about 10 minutes or until she arrived and then it was like a twilight world with everyone fluttering around her, she kind of made everyone feel they were special, some how.

I WILL say I currently have a similar problem with a work colleague and despite not one ounce of encouragement I'm being touted as wifey number 4 (over my dead body and frankly I'm amazed he even notched up wifey number 1). But that is ONE bloke and understandably a very odd bloke at that.

This does not address the impact Noirin has. Is it some sort of stir crazy reaction?

i think noirin has the impact she does, because she is a bit aloof and then the male ego cmes into play, being in the house must magnify th effect.

THAT is charisma. It's sexless in that anyone is susceptible regardless of sex. Which is why I think Noirin does not have it. You might though.
