OK, several of us were having a discussion the other night on the best way to change a duvet cover (Hell's Kitchen was on - we were bored, ok?! Big Grin) Upshot was - Fluffs and I have a date today to report on how long it takes ... I say she's far too slow and my way is faster.

Not sure if Fluss has done hers yet...just off to do mine now.... will set the stop watch and report back later.

At each of the furthest corners push them through and out of the opening to grab the corners of the duvet.

Then shake the cover over the duvet.

Job jobbed.
What happened Rafe was that years ago, just after they were introduced in this country I saw a thing on Pebble Mill about how to put them on easily, but they only showed how to do a single duvet, with no mention of how to cope with the larger double, king etc. So I devised my own method, but Kaffy reckons it's too slow, hence the race. I haven't done mine yet, I have to go and cut the grass just now. I'll report back later. Smiler

Nod This was described as the Anthea Turner way (I didn't get it from her!).... Fluffy has a strange concertina type routine that I still haven't worked out, but she says it takes 20 minutes. This is how this whole silly thing took off (you probably had to be there! Laugh)

Mine is down to a fine art too. Just that Kaffy thinks it could be made even finer. Big Grin

I'm sure it's very fine - just not so fast! Big Grin

BTW - I felt like I was on the Krypton factor - was all fingers and thumbs and had to remove and replace one with BUTTTONS instead of poppers! All against the clock... Roll Eyes

remember this? Well I haven't forgotten have done it kaffy's way and it took nearly 30 minutes, but I keep forgetting to time myself doing it my way.
Have just changed the bedcovers and ONCE AGAIN forgot to put the timer on, but got a rough idea that it was about 12 minutes. So I think I'll stick to my method. Valentine

Laugh Oh, you're not doing it right then, Fluffs! You need a masterclass! I'm telling you... less than 10 minutes...

Easy to see BB is finished eh? Laugh

You, my dear, are a gold medal duvetist! Clapping

Just to check... this is starting with an unmade bed, stripping all pillowcases, bottom sheets, replacing all and putting the dirty ones in the laundry?
