It's been a while
Since I penned a post
In the Rhyming style.
I sit me down with my cup of tea
The weather forecast for to see
I get some food and watch a show
Suddenly it's time for bed, you know!

One year ago today
we were told to stop play
In our homes we must stay
No more hugs to our dismay
Our mental health it does fray
Keeping family at bay
But there are those who do stray
Risking us all I might say
If we could all just display
A modicum of respect then hey
Eventually there will come the day
When we will all be free again Yayyyy!
That day is closing in

Spring has sprung, full of good cheer
shame that people seem to only worry about Beer
watching the buds forming on trees
soon we will be hearing the buzzing of bees.
If I were Queen of the World;
it would be sunny, every day of the week
raining only at night
it would never be bleak
Snow would fall every Christmas eve
for two full days, then it would leave
Life for all would be simple and fun
plenty of food, clean water for everyone
No hate, No war, No sadness at all
just Peace and Love
we'd all have a ball.........
