We had to let a pair of robins have our shed for the summer a couple of years ago... Mr Ditty didn't fix the hinge on the door, so there was a gap at the top and the robins nested in it.

We got quite attached to them.. but was a pain in the butt.

Watched them fledge and had an all is good feeling (til we saw one that hadn't made it in the shed... which had had a quite horrible death.. but.. 5 out of 6.. not bad)

I have a black collared dove nesting in my hanging basket. It's very cute.
