Swallows or swifts I think they are,(where is Bill Odie when ya need him?)
Anyway I am building a shed in my yard, s nearly done, just needs the door putting on and some holes cutting out for windows to go in, BUT cause of the shite weather oop here in the frozen north I have been unable to do it in the last couple of days, and now I have seen these 2 birds swooping in and out of the damn shed every few minutes, I know enough about birds to know that at the moment it is the ideal nesting place for these type of birds, Ive been in and had a good look, cant see any signs of a nest as yet but because of the "brilliant construction of the shed" (read...any odd bit of wood nailed together)
the early stages of construction could be hidden away where I cant see it,
NOW, this shed is going to be my workshop which I will depend on to earn a living,
so I would hate myself for doing it, but I may have to destroy the nest if I find it, Is this tantamount to animal cruelty and will I have guys in balaclavas spraying the house?

One killed a beautiful male blackbird in my garden.Now that bird probably had a mate brooding eggs,she would reley on him to feed her whilst brooding.So now she'll probably abandon the nest to feed herself.
