Well Ive decided to stay at uni

I have had some really good times and fun there and met loadz of nice friends Also i have got good marks through out the year so it seemed a waste to throw that all away.

I realized the opportunity was too big to through it all away. Also , i don't know what I would of done if i did decide to leave. So im sticking it out

Hope you don't mind if i ask you to update me - your age, course, problem you faced? I remeber you sed you had no interest in your course anymore.
I too realised my chosen course was not for me (i trained to be a teacher and just could not see my whole life planned out for me  - so young)
BUT people sed to me "Get your degree and never go into teaching" So i can see the benefits of staying

Im 20 , doing criminology and sociology. Well at the time I was going through a bad time and I did lose interest in my course. But I've come  through the other side now and determined to stick at it. My modules for next year sound really interesting There were also a few issues with people that made me want to leave , but thats now all sorted and in the past

So pleased for you Chicken
So did you take advice from your tutors or did you sort it in your head.
I feel there is too much expectation on young people to know wot they want. This happened to me - they wanted me to make up my mind pronto and i was saying i didn't know wot i wanted (that was the problem) .... and all the time my course work was stock piling.
Perhaps it will be best for you to think that your degree can lead in so many directions and i cud not see how mine cud at the time.
I lost so much wen i left - but glad i left tbh.

CHICKEN - i agree with you totally
Where-as you can manage the course - i was floundering
Well - i believed i was .. tutors disagreed - but i had no heart in it anymore
Wen i left i felt lost and fell into my current job by accident (a lucky acccident) but i cud see me sitting around doing nothing for years.
I had zero ideas about who i was - wot i wanted - its more common than we think
