That's what I find odd.

I don't own a single Michael Jackson album and I certainly don't feel compelled to go out and buy one now.

Surely if you were a great fan in the first place you would have them all already?

I think it's more a case of a new audience hearing his music being played a lot on tv and radio at the moment, and realising how good it is.
