This lunchtime a local eatery had a menu consisting exclusively of Scottish fare. I decided to have the Traditional Ayrshire Dunlop Cheese and Leek Tart.

 

Now I am reliant on the Scots contingent to tell me if the tart is in fact traditional (I understand the cheese is from the Dunlop cow). I found a slight sweetness to the tart. On balance I would eat it again.

 

Below is a picture of the dish. There would be a picture after, which is essentially an empty plate. 

 

I don’t know how authentic it is , but it looks quite yummy
