I was watching video's of Josie before she went into the house yesterday and she looked great and healthy at about a size 12 to 14, I don't think its low self esteem thats she's put weight on but eating, laying in bed all day and being all round lazy that has piled the pounds on her..I could'nt give two farts if she's fat or thin but watching someone lazing and grazing all day is pretty boring....Plus she moaned about her weight and when Dave offered her to exercise with him, went off on one as though he's outright called her fat, which he did'nt he just guessed her dress size right....
I couldn't have put it better myself.  Josie is obviously a pretty girl, and has a lovely face, and frankly, is pretty at a size 12 or a size 18/20 which I would say she is now.  However, now the negatives; she has become a whiney mare, constantly fawning over John James like a lovesick puppy, and it's a bit pathetic and annoying.  John James clearly isn't totally into her; he loves her a mate, but is not physically attracted to her IMO.  If she was, he would have made it clear by now.  Whether it IS because she is a 'bigger' girl, and he feels reluctant to have a chubby lass, or whether he just downright doesn't feel anything other than close friendship for her, I don't know; but he isn't into her in a romantic way.  If he IS, then he is sure hiding it well.

In addition. Josie is now reminding me of Jo O'Meara from S Club 7, who was in CBB a few years back; lounging around in bed all day, doing f*ckall, scoffing and moaning, in her bloody dressing gown or with the quilt wrapped around her; how the eff could any man be attracted to that?!

Finally, re; the 'fat comments' thing...  Yes I agree that the comments are harsh, but it's just human nature.  People are judgemental; fact.  I am judgemental with people, and they are with me...and it's a fact of life that people judge fat people.  And people who ARE fat will be the most pissed off about it... like digs at single mothers are going to upset singles mothers more, but married mothers/childfree folk aren't going to care...and people on benefits are going to be upset at people on benefits being called scroungers, but people working aren't going to give a stuff.  Similarly fat people will be more upset at 'fat' comments...

I myself, actually was 5 stone overweight from the late 90s to the year before last, (and a size 22,) and all the time I was fat, many people judged me, and commented, and people who hadn't seen me for a few years commented on how big I had got...and I had strangers shouting 'fatty' out of car windows...

Then I spent a year (Nov 2008 to Nov 2009) losing 4 stone, (and have kept it off for 9 months,) and I am now a size 14...  Now all year, I have had people commenting how slim I look, and how it's made me look younger and much healthier, and I get whistled at by men, and get chatted up occasionally too: something that hasn't happened since I was last a size 14 in the early 1990s!  So you have to take the rough with the smooth in life; people do comment on peoples' appearances and always will.

I even find myself noticing obese, slovenly people a LOT more, since I lost my weight, and I have seen a number of people I know who are fatter than me now, and some of them are people who commented on my size over the years.  But I would never say anything to them; it's reward enough for me to see them getting bigger, and looking embarrassed and shameful when they see me slimmer.  Also, I don't mention anything about losing weight to anyone, as I don't want to be a diet bore...and they know I have lost weight when they see me.    I also think that very very very few people who are fat, have 'thyroid' problems, or any other health issue.  Most weight gain is down to over-eating, and not enough exercise, but many fat people deny it.  I know I used to.

So I know it's not nice for people to comment on Josie's size, but she has gotten lazy and slovenly, and is always stuffing her face as if food is going out of fashion, and people ARE going to comment and judge: that's life.  (unfortunately...)

I'm sure someone will accuse me of being pious, judgemental, full-of-myself or whatever (for mentioning my weight loss and saying I notice fat people and greediness more now,) but I'm just putting my honest views and aren't setting out to upset anyone or piss anyone off...
