I think the Elephant just represents the film "Elephant" (A Gus Van Sant film).

BTW: I think the Santa Claus actually represents "Bad Santa" (You can see he's dressed like the devil, and he actually looks a bit like Billy Bob Thornton.)

Also, there's "Jarhead" (to the left of the phone box.)
