What a silly argument.
Most of the time they did not understand each other.
Charlie was talking over Freddie and not listening (you can`t argue if you don`t listen.)
Then when he did hear a few words he totally misunderstood or gave them a whole new meaning.
That argument would never be resolved.
They were arguing about different things.
Freddie says he got the bad vibes from Sophie (something Sophie said), but Charlie immediately translates that as Charlie slagging Sophie off. What nonsense. Then like Chinese Whispers Charlie passes it on wrongly to Sophie and so it goes on....
Just because Charlie does not listen or understand in the first place.
Charlie argues like a spoilt child - just don`t let the other person get a word in.
