Yes I often wonder where it comes from too Slim .But I change my sheets twice a week, pillowcases every other day , and duvet cover once a week I also wash the towels every day , so that makes up the bulk of the loads .

If you use a flat sheet under the duvet then the cover doesn't need changing as often and is much easier to manage
