The most spectacular view I've ever seen was years ago I was driving along the A39 in North Devon. It had been raining and although it had stopped, the sky was full of dark clouds. Then I went through Lynmouth, There's a hairpin bend there and for a few seconds the shingle beach and sea can be seen. Amidst the clouds was the sun poking through and a sunbeam on the beach.
