Well, I did not expect to be on here today.

The day started great, good weather and got quite a lot of work done in the morning. So come lunchtime I decided to nip out and buy the newly released blu-ray of Skyfall and a sandwich.

Running across the shopping mall car park in my eagerness to buy the film I slipped, doing a half splits and twisting my right ankle. And yes there were plenty of onlookers  - lol

So called work and told them I'm off home to elevate and rest it.

Ironic as I could be watching the film now if I had it. The ankle is starting to swell nicely right now. Just hoping it gets better for my meeting tomorrow!!

Hope you manage to get the film I've seen it - it's good

Hi Soozy - Thanks. Got a half bag of peas in the freezer. Was going to eat them for tea later, so will use and then eat as intended.

I will pick the film up in a couple of days, no hurry as I've seen it. something for the weekend.

It is good.

It is a bit bad luck isn't it. But I will make the meeting whatever the circumstances. It's too important to me.

The meeting you mentioned about a new job? Best of luck  the fact you're going despite an injury might impress them!

Yes it is, thanks.

It is an internal job and actually closer to home than my present job, so easier to get to in a way. I will have to point it out (the ankle) as I am going in a comfy shoe.

40's.

But I am one of those fortunate people who appear much younger than my age. When I announced my 40th at work many were genuinely surprised and actually put me in my early 30's. One person at 28 - they are now my best friend
